I just quit POE2 because of lack of WAYSTONES
Drop rate of waystones sucks hell. I'm stuck at around lvl 7 to 8 because i only get lvl 3 and 4 waystones, sometimes no waystones at all. That is so dumb and frustrating because i just have to run around and clear trash just to be able to run a good map once a day.
Hope you fix this. Also Multiplayer is kinda boring as party gets torn apart once somebody dies because it's lame to wait until you can rejoin the NEXT map. Hope you guys fix this so i can return on retail version. Dernier bump le 8 févr. 2025 17:43:10

just buy them from other, better players.
age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

Reforge lower tier into higher.
Use your tablets that have increased % waystone drops at towers. You just need some more game knowledge. Ask if you have to but not in game, here. |

" Even if you go solo just turn waystones to magic/rare with orbs. If you have precursor tablets, put in boss mods, since they guaranteed to drop high level stones. Atlast points can help you too. Reforge lower ones. I burned away my stones too, but with a few runs with low yellow stones I got back where I was. Hope this helps. ;) Dernière édition par Kraivan#1745, le 8 févr. 2025 08:01:06

" Make waystones rare.. you will get alot of them.. just saying. |

Run waystones magic or better rare.
Save higher waystone chance drop waystones for nodes with boss. Make your character decently tanky so you can fully clear map. That's all you need to never have issues with waystone sustain. |

Use the Regal orb and make them rare. At least 90%.
Then save these up for Boss Maps. Defeating a boss usually gets you a nice amount of maps. Put points into the lower right side of the Atlas map increasing item rarity and quantity. I also put Atlas points into increased magic pack size as often Magic blue mobs will drop plain maps. Then pick up all the maps you find and forge them into higher ones. |

I have been saying this since the game came out. Its the WORST mechanic I could EVER f'ing imagine be put into any ARPG ever. People are not understanding how stupid this actually is.
You can run 350%+++ waystone drop chances with 50% tier increase from the Atlas and juice the map to over 300% and you will STILL not get waystones or lower tier than the one you are on. This effectively punishes you for doing well. You can clear the map, kill every mob, use every atlas perk, boost with towers, juice the map and you will STILL have a loot goblin decide if you get to keep playing at the proper tier. That means dying and succeeding have the exact same result. Whatever moron works at GGG that thinks that is a good mechanic, should legit be fired. Im not joking. You are the worst employee of the team if you are the one that implemented this or, GGG have no f'ing common sense between any of them. Break down the simple logic of the mechanic and you are punishing people for clearing maps and following every single thing needed just to get a waystone. Why are the waystone are stupidly setup in the first place. Its the key to enter a map. It doesnt get you anywhere, you get no skills, no progress. Its just a key to enter a door and they put it behind a loot goblin system. It means you cant play at the right tier unless the loot goblin decides for you. I can't imagine a dumber mechanic for end game than this. I really don't think you could make a stupider system. As if it were not bad enough, they randomize the affix you have to juice on to them just for a chance to get a waystone and some of those affix brick the waystone. So that rare key that dropped that only opens the door now has affixes on it guaranteed to kill you due to abhorrent balance issues. Imagine playing any game, any of them, anyyyy game ever where you unlock levels(maps) to play through. A platformer moves you on to the next level after completing the prior one. In POE2, they roll a dice and set you back 6 tiers and then morons in the forum say get good or just buy them from others. Because that is always fun. Some one else plays the game and I just buy the outcome from them instead of play. That is exactly what ARPG is all about. Not playing, buy items, win? If this is what Poe1 was all about, it explains why so few played the game long term. It was in a constant broken state. | |
skill issue everyone have a lot of it
