Recent Atlas Map issues
Hey,
Been playing for a while with no issues but yesterday I first encountered a bug on the Atlas Map. When it get bugged, the movement with the camera on the atlas map and the event icons(corruption, boss, expedition etc.) are no longer linked. So for example when I open the map, the atlas nodes where you typically click to put your waystone and play doesn't work. But when I move my mouse randomly, sometimes I see a tooltip so after a bit of settings, I can click on a node and put my waystone but I have no idea which node it is on the atlas map, what it is linked to, and I just can see the biome name, the usual modifiers provided by close tower, and when I finish the map(win or fail), I have a hard time playing another area because I have to move slowly my mouse all over the screen in the hope of crossing the path of an invisible node, and often it's one I already cleared. I tried to find similar cases on the internet and followed someone's advice that was to %appdata% and delete entire poe 2 folder content but: -I have to do it after every single map played -Sometimes it doesn't even work and I have to do it multiples times. If someone already found a viable solution, maybe an unrelated setting to change or something to do, I'm open to any suggestion because I have a hard time playing with all these alt F4. Hey,
So to update the bug, it is still there. Sometimes I can do two maps before it occurs, usually one map is enough. And now when I delete the poe2 folder in appdata, it doesn't fix the issue so I quit the game again, delete again, restart poe2, try the map atlas. If I'm lucky it's fixed and I can do a map or 2 before it comes back. If i'm unlucky, it's still bugged so I quit, delete, restart again. I tried to check the file integrity on steam. I tried to uninstall and do a full install again, it didn't help. If anybody had this and found a work around or a fix, please contact me. |
