PoE1 continues crashing after around 5-10 minutes, other issues within thread

Greetings all.
I'm currently playing PoE1, am level 23, Witch class, and am currently doing the Quests of "Deal with The Bandits"- Travel to Broken Bridge, Western Forest or a the Wetlands"
"The Way Forward"- Travel to the Western Forest
And Optional quest "Einhars Menagerie".
Regardless of which area I try to manually travel,Fast Travel, within 5-15 minutes of paying, the game will slightly stutter, and then freeze with the music in a constant note loop.
I have re-installed, deleted the game files, started completely over from scratch, and cleared my cache on my PS5. The game is practically unplayable, and can't progress any further due to the constant freezing and creating... what are some possible fixes to this? Please and Thank you for your time.

Same here. Very small amount of game play, then freeze. Did it 3x in a row, then I stopped trying. Unplayable.

Bigger issue is it doesn’t even crash to submit a report. You have to manually close the game.

GGG… I don’t know man. I’m not mad, just super disappointed.

No kidding.. I'm half tempted to just scrap the time I've spent in the game and start over... but I REALLY don't want to...

Had to go back and play the PS4 client, because of the constant crashing on the PS5 client. Hopefully there's a fix coming soon, but thankful the old client works in the meanwhile.

It's happening to me too, over many days. Playing on a Playstation 5 Pro. Caused me to lose my hardcore character. Pre-release Path of Exile 2 has been far more stable over a longer period of time.

I wasn't even aware of a PS4 client... it only made available to me the PS5... will my save data crossover, or do I have to begin anew?

All game save data is stored online just make sure the profile is same

Same problem going to try ps4 client if it keeps happening

Yup for me the game kept freezing for 2-3 seconds every 10 seconds or so. Lost a ton of XP... was almost 98 :(

It started to occur 2 days ago. I'm on PS5 client, Necro Settlers
