Small additions that would make a big difference
Just collecting a list of relatively minor changes to how things work that would make a big difference in reducing tedium, and make the game feel better to play, without having a big difference on overall difficulty or player power. Feel free to add your own suggestions for little convenience items that would make you enjoy the game more.
1) Things that should be on the currency exchange that aren't: Uncut Skill, Spirit, and Support Gems Djinn Barya (1, 2, 3, 4 trial versions and standardize the levels of these to commodify them) uncorrupted Inscribed Ultimatums (4, 7, and 10 Trial versions, again standardize the levels) 2) Enhanced affinities and better stash tab functionality A waystone affinity is sorely lacking. Hopefully this is coming soon with the map tab. Expedition Locker and expedition locker affinity including a portion of it for logbooks would be an excellent addition. A secondary unique affinity for those with the unique stash tab, so duplicate uniques can be set to a regular tab after the unique tab for that is filled. Breach affinity for Catalysts and Breach splinters Ritual affinity for Omens Rune and Soul Core Affinity The ability to set an affinity other than currency on the currency stash tab for the 14 stackable slots More space in the gem stash tab. 500 Gems doesn't end up being sufficient compared to basically every other specialty stash tab in POE2 due to differences in the POE1 and POE2 gem systems 3) Combine the salvage bench, reforging ui, and disenchant vendor into a single object/UI element. Ideally, there would be a single interface I can go to after a map to handle items not going into my stash. It should be easy enough to have an interface that allows you to easily salvage, reforge, disenchant, or vendor for gold all in one spot, rather than having 4 different elements for that. This would save time between maps and make the game more about playing the game, rather than managing your loot. An ability to bulk reforge as could be done with POE1 vendors would also be appreciated. 4) A quality currency for charms and the ability to salvage them for it This one is pretty self explanatory. Meaningful quality for caster weapons other than scepters would be nice; something like quality to the provided base skill would be a start, potentially maybe open them up for catalysts, though that might be asking a bit much and rather a can of worms.
Sockets for caster weapons with appropriate rune and core effects would be nice too.

Body Rune: Allies in your presence leech 1.5% of physical damage as life Desert Rune: 3% of damage gained as fire Glacial Rune: 3% of damage gained as cold Inspiration rune: Gain 10 mana per kill (same as martial weapon) Iron Rune: 10% increased minion and spell damage Mind Rune: Allies in your presence leech 1% of physical damage as mana Rebirth Rune: Gain 20 life per kill (same as martial weapon) Stone Rune: Spells and minions cause 15% increased stun buildup Storm Rune: 3% of damage gained as lightning Vision Rune: Allies in your presence have +50 to accuracy rating Soul Core of Citaqualotl: Allies in your presence deal 15% increased elemental damage with attacks Soul Core of Quipolatl: 8% increased cast speed Soul Core of Topotante: Spells penetrate 5% elemental resistances All other soul cores do the same as their martial weapon.
