buff weapon skills

it is very difficult to get a lvl 19 base weapon skill, im currently using a lvl 19 firebolt staff that i traded for and to be honest i dont even really know how to get them, its item lvl 84

not being able to get full links on this skills also feels really bad, always missing a link no matter what

why can we not use uncut gems to upgrade weapon skills?

the skills themselves are obviously mostly terrible and no one uses them, but i have made a firebolt build after many many failed attempts and even on a 100 div budget its honestly still pretty bad, though it does most things ok except breaches im mainly using the character as a ritual farmer

anyways, these abilities reallyyy need some love, like i literally can't even think of one that was actually good

freezing shards is like ok for leveling cuz it shotguns

living bomb can be used to target things through walls and that can't even hit you so thats kind of neat but its probably a bug

mana drain drains a pathetic amount of mana

volatile wand needing corpses is just...for needing a corpse like super weak

the lightning staff one is laughable compared to amulet version and has no upside vs it

also staff in general is just horrible, like its less stats than wand focus and its hard to trade for because they are so bad literally no one picks them up lol

im not sure i understand the intent of the design for these...

they are borderline impossible to make a build around, and they are so weak that they arent worth using to supplement any build because ur just wasting time casting something where u are better off not casting anything at all or obviously using your builds main abilities

literally the only weapon skill thats worth anything is sigil of power because its just a buff and we always use that on weapon swap because 2h is terrible

not talking about scepters because auras and minions are a different thing entirely mainly talking about wand and staff stuff

plz buff firebolt aoe or let it shotgun, like double base aoe xD
