Waystone Looting
Overall a very enjoyable game with some problems here and there but that is to be excepted for an early access, such as the undodgeable one shot attack from the act 3 final boss (Doryani) where he goes into his mech form, flies into the air and head slams you. This made it impossible to dodge without movement speed boots so I would recommend to make the damaging area a tiny bit smaller, for act 3 on cruel keep it the same.
Another boss that needs to be changed is Uxmal, The Beastlord. As I was going through the trial I got the curse that gives all monsters some energy shield (biggest mistake), when I went to fight the boss I would barely do enough damage to hit his actual health bar before he flew up and regained all that shield. Sometimes he flew up so fast I could not even brake the energy shield. Would recommend to simply keep him grounded for a bit longer because the fight just lasted way to long without being difficult. Also not being able to rename a stash tab and needing to pay for something that simples is ridicules. Now for my main point on waystone looting. the system so for is enter a map, kill a bunch on enemies, pick up the loot you want, go back to your camp to disenchant/store it, do that 2 more times to clear the map. This ruins the flow of the gameplay and would be much more enjoyable if these to parts where more split. Meaning that you would have your combat phase of clearing the map, and than the sorting phase for your loot. A solution for this could be that as loot is "dropped" from monsters, instead of them dropping where you kill them, they drop all together when you fully clear the map or when you leave the map there is a chest waiting for you to open with all that loot, (the problem with this is that to much loot would drop at the end), there could be an item filter system where you could specify what you want so only the things you want will drop in the end. (if a map drops 2 bows, 2 wands ,2 helmets and you don't want the bows at the end only the wands and helmets will officially be dropped). Dernier bump le 2 févr. 2025 11:31:42
