The biggest issue with the endgame

as someone who invested over 500 hours so far in POE2 the biggest issue i have encountered is the amount of effort and chores you gotta do before having fun in maps. you gotta do so much chores before you actually enjoy the game. either towers have to go (removed) or add scarabs because i find my self spending HOURS just preparing areas to run and the difference between 0% quantity map to 300% quantity is legit 3 times the loot. the concept of towers was nice but its not realistic to be constantly preparing areas and using the reforge bench manually for specific tablets those chores take away the fun of the game. when i log in I wanna enjoy the game, anything below 200% quantity isnt rewarding and its demotivating to continue. I understand its early access so no complaints just hoping to see towers go away. and i didnt even talk about certain terrains that are simply unplayable like the vaal factory unlimited amounts of doors getting stuck in terrain and also the fact that you gotta clear absolutely useless maps just to reach towers and areas with towers which is even more chores before you actually play, sry for the rant and thanks for reading.

Play POE1 to say ... maven ... then come back and let me know what you think of the two games. You have plenty of time before the new patch.
So you've played a game for five hundred hours and only have fun after you've done your chores? Seems a waste of time. Are you sure you want to play PoE II? Maybe you could find another game that's fun from the start.

No need to be snide

He has a point end game sucks.
Its repetitive and lacks goals.

It is unrewarding becasue all of the investment in towers
or in creating a good farming area that is it all just to run
a map once, and if you die 2 seconds in the door, which i have then its poof
bye bye in game items, bye bye real life time.

I have many ideas which i believe would make the endgame more rewarding and fun
but not for this post i suppose.

This is where I will say "Early Access" because making the endgame more engaging i'm sure is being cooked right now.

Feedback is when players point out what they think is unreasonable and find bugs based on their own judgment when playing the game.

Bugs will also be subjectively judged as benign or malignant bugs depending on the situation.

My character's HP is 1, and when the shield is low, it should be prompted, but it is not, because my character's HP is 1, even if the shield is almost gone, it is still 100% of the "healthy state". This problem will change according to the player's preferences.

If I don't like the red screen prompt effect when the health value is low, then I will think it is a good thing and no need to modify it, but if I need the red screen prompt, then this is a defect for me, which means that I don't like this situation and I think it is a bug in the design.

All of the above will change the judgment according to the player's subjective preferences. If I think this problem needs to be improved and come here to give feedback, it means that I don't like this design.

This kind of "if you don't like it, quit the game" statement is equivalent to saying that anyone who wants to give feedback here should quit the game.

You have denied this Early Access The significance of feedback also negates the significance of your own speech here.
I like the strategy element behind towers and precursors but the experience does feel tedious.

On paper it may sound nice but the way endgame is currently structured I'd vastly prefer the PoE1 mapping experience:

1. Map layouts -- you can always run your favorite in PoE1. In PoE2 there are lots of "trash" layouts to deal with.

2. Tower / precursor buffs -- I'd prefer scarabs and/or sextants any day.
Getting bored running atlas maps and not interested in acing the trials. Time to try other characters and play other games. Give GGG some breathing space to fine tune everything.
If it helps I've only put about 40 hours into the endgame and also think it's a load of busywork lol

I'm hoping that it improves measurably as the early access proceeds.
Having to do a bunch of optimization for the baseline loot system is fucking awful.
