GGG, Enough with the unnecessary punishments

Everywhere I look in POE2, I see things that seem designed to punish the player for no real reason, almost as if the devs ran out of ideas on how to make the game genuinely challenging.

Take portals, for example-why do we lose our buffs (ES overflow, unbound avatar, etc) just by entering or exiting them? Is there some potential exploit or abuse this prevents, or is it just another arbitrary penalty ?
To me it feels lame that if I have to exit my map to do a trade to lose the ES overflow for no reason...and if there are no mobs left and only the boss remains, I’m pretty much screwed (unless you have Meditate). I either have to ignore the trade offer or face the boss with half ES, which is far from ideal.

Take POIs (breaches, ritual sites, etc) as another example-why do these locations disappear from the map/minimap if you walk away after being discovered and not yet completed? If you forget their location, you’re forced to wander through an empty map just to find them again. Is there any real reason for this, or is it just another arbitrary penalty?

Also, for the love of god, add some info about the map's contents after you enter it. Sometimes, when running maps, I forget if it had a Breach or not, and I end up combing through an empty map just to be sure. Why? Simply because there’s no way to check what the map contained once you're inside.
(Just show the same info that the map icon displayed outside, but also make it visible once you're inside the map.)

I won’t even get into the one-death-per-map issue since there have already been tons of posts about it.
