Even with Omen of Amelioration, your game design is annoying AF. Why do you have soooo fucking many on-death effects? I just got F'd by some sort of chain-reaction explosion I've never seen before from an essence mob.

Just died to coalesced corruption spawning around me when I used Unearth into a pack of corpses to summon my bone scorpions because my minion shot a white mob off screen and triggered the coalesced corruption to spawn when I thought there were no more enemies around me.

So I lost my Tier XV map, Vaal orb + Exalts + Regal that I put into it, Map Node I worked towards + Ritual Tablet, 10% XP and have to run that same node again with nothing on it just to progress forwards to a node where I can begin to attempt to earn my 10% of lost XP back which will take 2-3 juiced maps to do.

Just read that again.

There's someone at GGG who has literally never had a friend or done a social activity in their entire life who thinks this is appropriate.
I'm sick to the bone at this design philosophy, absolutely furious.
This is so stupid and I want to know EXACTLY what dev is responsible for this shit so I can actively blacklist them and make sure I never touch anything they have ever again for the rest of my life.

What a joke. Close to calling the bank to get a refund on what I spent on the Early Access at this point.

Can someone explain why most of posts about portals and exp penalty are being posted by people that played a lot of poe1?...

cause new players on poe 2, if they dont like the game just quit and never come to the forum. logic 101. why would they assume a core philosophy would change if enough people complain, they ve not seen drastically change over the years and to be honest they probably rightfully dont care about this game. it s just a new hyped up game like there are plenty all the time. 0 strings attached

after 210h i got my first audience of the king. 5k energy shield, 2.2k life over 70% evasion and armour, all res capped and got a oneshot from him. I lost of course XP, the audience and my mental sanity... i'll not play till next patch ( if good)

People wanted it gone and spammed xp penalty threads in POE1 as well.


I played/play the crap outta poe1 and want both xp loss and one portal to stay in poe2 myself.
