BUG: The passive "Arcane Intensity" is not working

"Arcane Intensity" does not work for 7/10 equipment slots. By that I mean it doesn't increase your tooltip DPS with for example the skill "Spark" in any way when you equip +100 mana items in these slots. It should give you a damage increase for every 100 mana threshold that you reach.
Item slots affected are: - Helmet - Body armour - Gloves - Belt - Both rings - Boots Item slots that do seem to somewhat affect it are the amulet and both weapon slots, but I cannot confirm by how much. How to reproduce this: 1. Learn the passive "Arcane intensity". 2. Turn off the spirit skill "Archmage" to remove it's mana scaling properties for this test. 3. Open you skills panel and watch the DPS of caster spells not get affected when you equip gear pieces with pure mana on them. 4. Make sure the gear pieces you use to test this only have #to maximum mana on them. As #Intelligence (via the passive "pure power"), #% increased damage, #% increased cast speed, # to spell skills etc. would affect this. 5. Make sure the gear change in question actually increases your mana above a new 100 mana threshold, which should trigger said DPS increase. Note: Mana gained from energy shield via "Eldritch Battery" does not affect Arcane Intensity either, even though it gives you more mana. I'm too new to PoE to know if this is intended or not, but worth mentioning. This has been tested by me on both a gemling legionaire and on a stormweaver. Also make sure the passive "Force of Will" for a stormweaver is turned off of testing on that class.

Can confirm it too.
No idea if this is intentional or not. But it's surprising that it is the case. Because the two spells are very close to each other. It seems like a good combo. But alas does not work. | |

It has to be a bug. The sole reason for that passive existing is to scale danage with mana.
It doesn't scale damage with mana. |

I noticed it too yesterday comparing 2 gloves and felt so dumb having around +100 Mana on almost every gear peace...
I hope it gets fixed soon |

Same issue, just doesnt change any damage at all, but I have 800+ mana

You can open full tool tip of skill and can see that damage actually changes after taking that node, looks like visual bug of tool tip, but node is working

We're about to hit 2026 and Arcane Intensity seems still to be buggy AF.
I had this Amulet till Level 59 with my Plants Druide: Item Class: Amulets Rarity: Rare Pandemonium Noose Lapis Amulet -------- Requires: Level 26 -------- Item Level: 38 -------- +14 to Intelligence (implicit) -------- 14% increased Spell Damage +10 to maximum Mana 10% increased Rarity of Items found 15% increased Cast Speed +15 to Intelligence 21% increased Mana Regeneration Rate -------- Corrupted Entangle DPS (at Skill-Level 17): 1993 Thrashing Vines DPS (at Skill-Level 17): 3769 I build this Amulet: Item Class: Amulets Rarity: Rare Behemoth Medallion Lapis Amulet -------- Requires: Level 56 -------- Item Level: 74 -------- Allocates Arcane Intensity (enchant) -------- +15 to Intelligence (implicit) -------- 26% increased Spell Damage 41% increased Evasion Rating +28% to Fire Resistance +32% to Lightning Resistance 17.5 Life Regeneration per second 37% increased maximum Energy Shield (desecrated) and if I equip it, both of the skills lose DPS: Entangle DPS (at Skill-Level 17): 1901 Thrashing Vines DPS (at Skill-Level 17): 3613 How is this possible? Am I missing something? |
