Endgame Suggestion: Boss Bounty hunt

After beating the campaign a NPC offers us bounties where we can "hunt" campaing bosses again and again, but this time with higher difficulty level.

This way people can chose if they want to do mapping f.e. .....or hunt campaign bosses, but this time a harder version of them

They're 4 types of bounty difficulties:

- White Bounty: Boss level = 70 + 1 additional rare mod

- Yellow Bounty: Boss Level = 80 + 2 additional rare mods

- Red Bounty: Boss Level = 90 + 3 additional rare mods

- Purple Bounty: Boss Level = 100 + 4 additional rare mods & 1 random uniqe boss mod.

If you accept a bounty all mobs in the boss area of the campaign are harder aswell (maybe 5 level lower than the boss himself).

And every single boss has a higher dropchance for certain Tier 0 uniques (not exclusive, just higher)....Lets say 0,5%, 1%, 1,5% and 2% dropcahnce, depends the bounty difficulty.

F.e. "The Executioner" would have a higher chance for a "Headhunter" belt and if you play the purple bounty the chances are 2% that he drops one

Or "Count Geonor" could drop a "Dream Fragment" or so...a unique that fits to the lore of the boss and ofc as harder the boss as better the T0 unique. ;)

This way we would have a purpose for the campaign even in endgame, another interesting endgame outside of maps and a place to target farm certain uniques (very good for SSF player who hunt for specific uniques).

Bossfights are one of the best activities in POE2, esp during campaign..... please give us a purpose to farm all the amazing designed campaign bosses in endgame aswell.

Thank you. :)

Interesting idea. I wonder if they could tie this into something like Rogue Exiles as well, assuming they make Exiles more like boss encounters rather than a glorified rare mob. In any case, I like the concept. :)

Love to hear that. <3

Tbh I rly like the Rogue Exiles from POE1....so much that I would rather have them as a own mechanic in the game (maybe even as a own league in future fully tied to them, not just as a small addition).

Idealy with f.e. 4 different and unique Rogue Bosses (who appear randomly if you kill a certain ammount of Rogue Exiles) and even a Rogue Pinnacle Boss in a "Rogue's Nest" map that already offers a big challange on the way to the Pinnacle Boss...something like that.

Same for Metamorph...I enjoyed this one a lot and hope it will find a way back into POE2 one day. :)

I would love to see Exiles and other similar leagues (Invasion, Bestiary) combined into an end-game "league" with its own tree, similar to Ritual and Breach. Turn these into unique mini-boss style encounters that drop some sort of currency that allows you to enter an Arena where you fight a handful of these in a row (4 or 5), followed by a pinnacle boss. Completing a number of these Arenas grants you access to the Hall of the Grandmasters. :)

Speaking of "Hall of Grandmaster".....some kind of PvP or PvPvE would be realy nice.

Ofc it won't work if we let fight all the builds against each other in theyr current form....It would be a 1-hit fiesta. ^^

But by normalizing stats in the PvP Areas this could actually work.

The wolcen devs will bring out some kind of "extraction ARPG" soon (Project Pantheon)....I think this could also work for POE2 as an aditional but good high risk high reward farming method for BIS gear. :)

That kinda sounds like Maven and her Invitations....I'm really curious if she and the other Uber bosses from POE1 are making a comeback. :)
I think this kind of endgame would perfectly fit to the Huntresss thematic of 0.20.

Even if I doubt that we'll get such endgame soon in POE2 (or ever) I found it a perfect match with the Huntress class.

Boss fights are one of the best endgame mechanics in any ARPGs and with this idea even campaign bosses would be meaningful even in super late endgame....Hope to see such system one day in POE2. :)
