Trial Master should automatically give you your ascendancy points when you beat him.

I spent quite a while farming the mats to fight the trial master for my 4th ascendancy. The first time he one shot me, then I re farmed and fought him again. I killed him, looted, and then left the arena without seeing the ascendancy thing you have to apparently click.

WHY IS THIS A THING? WHY DON'T YOU AUTOMATICALLY GET THE POINTS? WHY CAN'T YOU RETURN TO HIS ROOM AFTER KILLING HIM? WHO DESIGNED THIS TRASH?

I almost did the same thing man….

you can just re enter the trial without starting a new one and go to that altar to get the points. i just did the same thing you did but all the doors are open and you just have to reset each one of the lifts, then go to his room and take the elevator back up and your good to go. this is as of today 22 jan 2025. sucks you had to redo it for a 3rd time if you did. i even went back to my hideout to get more mats and then i was like fuck it let me see if i can just go all the way back through and i was able to reenter all of it.

Same has happened me, only worse. I thought I had to put a token in to open the gate. Which of course has reset it all. After hours and hours to finally defeat trail master then not automatically get the points is absolutely dreadful game design.
There was a faint blue glowing statue in the trail master arena but I couldn’t interact with it.

Im not doing it all again, honestly what complete waste of time. Really disappointed with that. A sense of achievement to complete this trail has turned into anger.

Please address this, completely spoilt the game for me.
