Audience with the King - Far too rare

Made this character a few days ago. Almost 94 in ssf, 2 days 1hr played. Have been exclusivley farming ritual. 0 Audiences seen. This should probably change.

After last two updated I see no audiences. They had to change its appearance. So much time wasted on rituals...

I hate bossgating in any games.
This is why I deliberately never go for any pinnacle boss in POE2.

Every single league mechanic boss is far too rare imho. Like, a whole order of magnitude too rare.

Just another reason SSF is dog in POE 2. I gave up at lvl 90 after rolling 200 wands trying to hit +4.

You're literally playing gimped 95% of the time for what? A thrill?

I actually thought this "drop rate" was exaggerated until recently. Just spent a weekend farming nothing but ritual, maybe 100 juiced maps. All high rarity as apparently that matters, I mean 200% player 200% map so 900% minimum multiplicative increased rarity. Quantity was about 50% from tablets.

I got ZERO audiences and no omens worth more than an exalt, I did get two flat divines. I have 8 points in the skill tree for more omens and audiences, which i purchased to farm uniques earlier. I always had enough to reroll twice as well so the odds of these appearing must be laughable.

The whole mechanic is geared towards buying your first couple Audiences to speed path to increasing the drop rate by 50%. You're literally up against insane odds of finding any outside of trade league. Might take you until your late 90s to find a single audience, and you need 2 to hit the 50% increased showing node. This is another reason SSF is such a waste of time. You'd think increased odds would occur for SSF right?

Nah, too difficult to code.

I knew I wasn't crazy, they did nerf omen drops.

I've done 90+ ritual maps and haven't got a single worthy omen, they were all trash.

All my maps were area 79 or better, i have 150% IIR. The results makes me very salty and I'm never touching them ever again.

I played them before in softcore and they we're showing sometimes. Now that I've started HC in 3 weeks, I haven't seen a single one. This makes us feel terrible and there's literally no incentive to grind them at this point because you'll have a better ROI farming something else.

And it's not even solely about the ROI, it just feels atrocious that there's no omen drop in 5 days of hard trying to get one for several hours a day. Even if one dropped at this point I would still be unhappy and never even try again because if that's the drop ratio, then clearly it's not worth wasting 80 hours to get one.
