Bahlak the Sky Seer
Custom build, focusing on Tempest Flurry/Tempest Bell and lightning as main source of damage. 1.2k life, 70% evade, almost max res. I do decent damage, I can kill bosses in decent time, but this bird has caused me to lose my Trial over 17 times. I'm level 48 hard stuck on a level 38 trial token. The main issue isn't the damage, but the tornado skill he does. Even if I predict it and move to the opposite side of the arena, I cannot outrun the skill and it one shots me almost immediately, no matter what I do. The other bird boss I've only faced once, it also does a one shot tornado skill as well but I'm sure I could predict that one and survive given a few tries. I have only gotten the Chimera boss once and died due to no flask charges which is another topic for another thread.
The only options I see for me to do is farm exalts and get movement speed on boots, or figure out a way to get some movement speed skill nodes, which I don't really have room for. I think the speed of the tornado needs to be reduced so a player can naturally outrun it without a movement speed node/stat on boots. Dernier bump le 9 févr. 2025 01:36:49

Lvl 89, all resists 75% except chaos, 2000hp + 2500es, 72% evasion rating and I die in seconds in that tornado. And even after you manage to survive it - boss starts using almost unreadable aoe full arena skills that kill me in seconds while I try to dodge. I can't event do some damage. This is totally broken. You either kill it before it starts tornado, or die...

+1 so annoying. All other bosses are easy. This one impossible. Ridiculous

The tornada sucks me dry in less than 2 seconds, and i dont know how to avoid it in this small of an area. This is with +30% movement speed boots. |

I started dodging as soon as I saw the windup and still got caught in the very outside of the tornado, 0.5sec one shot from 3k EHP. Please balance this GGG. So many boss fights rely on either over-levelling or broken builds to oneshot the boss before you get one shot from one of their attacks. The fights are fun UNTIL you mess up one dodge roll and it's over. Don't redesign, just balance please. Dernière édition par Ozymmandiass#1914, le 8 janv. 2025 07:58:03

Yes, specifically this boss, even on a good luck run (the game doesn't give you 3 out of 3 impossible picks and you just quit, MY BRAIN CAN NOT COMPREHEND HOW THIS DOESN'T HAVE A REROLL BUTTON) will save you.
Its not ok for me to run over the other bosses, any boss for that manner, and this boss just does the most random of things. Its not bad as in full rework, but its bad as in tuning as in 40-60% nerfs across the board, probably half his speed as well. Unacceptable. In general, both trials (outside of the random juiced map instagibs) is what leaves a terrible taste in my mouth. Should be a main focus, considering the amount of power that comes from ascendancy. We can't test builds and the game, if you throw a random wrench like this travesty of a boss. Meanwhile the other two bosses are perfectly fine, even on a "you are going to have a terrible time and NOT have fun" rng run. |

You can't really use boots without movement speed in this game, it's a mandatory modifier, kind of like increased block chance on shields. Gear without them might as well not exist. Seems like a design flaw to have modifiers that are mandatory to the point of making large amounts of gear obsolete.

Bahlak is horribly overtuned. I'm even playing ranger with every movement speed node on my passive tree, and I get killed by the tornado probably 1/3 of the time. He's also the buggiest boss I've seen. He sometimes goes invisible (and you thought he was hard normally!).

And it seems devs like it like that...
Nothing about him in the patch. I've got a little speed boost (5%) and it's far not enough to dodge his tornado. Problem is my build don't come from a pre-made build but it looks like for this boss i need to change it. No, listen GGG, do something with this tornado, it kills players way too fast, last too long and safe spot is ridiculous especially if you are forced to choose a debuff wich stops you from moving (whatever is the reason). |

I'm noticing attacks are untelegraphed when the boss comes out of the Tornado attack. From the other side of the screen, he instantly came out of the tornado with the lightning pillar attack (not orbs) with no indication or sound.
It really is a miserable experience against this boss considering how much time is wasted watching the tornado and disengaging wonder when you get to play the game again. |
