Completed towers not accepting tablets

Just completed two towers, and neither one is accepting precursor tablets. They're acting as if I have already used them, in the sense of no insertable menu is popping up when clicking on them.

Came looking for this exact bug. I'm having the same issue. Cleared a specific tower trying to build a map section up and it shows complete and will not let me place a tablet in it to mod the area around it. Tried closing the game and re-opening it and nothing changed.

I do see another tower that does show an open tablet space for some reason to allow me to place a tablet (honestly don't remember if I used it or not, because I usually place them immediately. But trying to place a tablet in that different one that I didn't just clear caused an error saying I can't place a tablet there. Very odd overall.

This is similar to a problem I have reported. It's strange that it's not reported from more players. I've bricked three towers in a row now due to that the tower activates but no boost are giving to nodes. And the tower becomes "already in use".
