Crossbow gets stuck if reload animation is interrupted by weapon swap/dodge

Pre-requisites:
- Weapon 1: Crossbow w/ any Skill equipped (tested on Galvanic Shards, Glacial Bolt, and Shockburst Rounds)
- Weapon 2: Bow w/ any Skill equipped (tested on Lightning Rod/Stormcaller Arrow)

Steps to Replicate:
1. Empty Crossbow Rounds w/ left-click hold
2. When Reload animation starts automatically, fire bow skill (or dodge roll, or anything that overrides the animation)
3. Character is now stuck in some reload/swap animation and has slower movespeed but cannot finish reloading and/or fire bolts.
4. It needs to reset animation (either equip/unequip or dodge roll) so it can start firing again.

Expected behavior:
- Reload animation restarts without getting "stucK"

This seems to have been an issue since the start of EA (crossbow seemed to jam a lot), but never really isolated the issue until now.

With dodge i have tested it ton of times. Becouse is an animation it interups automatically all action of skills.

But this happens ONLY with Crossbow skills. If using Caltrop action during dodge the action works perfectly. This is not fair and Devs should understand that doing nothing to solve the problem, lowers the quality of the class and weapon.

We waiting 4 months for this s..t to be fixed.
+1 Annoying bugs with Crossbow skills should be fixed.

+1. Make Dodge rolling not interrupting Reload of Crossbow. Enough delays we have with Reloading weapon.... One more destroys the game experience.
Fixing when? We can't wait for another 4 months. Devs this is your last chance to fix it.

Swap weapon and Dodge rolling should not prevent Reload time.
+1. Don't be lazy. You have enough time until 29 August to fix this annoying bug.
We cant play safe. It is a penalty time over an already reloading penalty time.
And bring off hand gear to all Crossbows. There are weapon skills tha to do 30k damage. Crossbow doesnt reach 15k dps. HELP improve the class Merc couse players quitting for ES chars.
Is this the same bug where you have ammo and your character constantly tries to stop and reload? Thinking bout it happens a lot when i am rolling or throwing grenades.



More context: Leveling a deadeye nade/turret build. I get the constantly reload with ammo while trying to rapid fire after ive set ballistae/grenades and ive rolled into a safe spot to unload. By the time my character animations have reset or i notice i can't shoot i have to move again and figure out how to reload properly.

Indeed it's a major problem and need to be fixed. It's the right time to save the crossbow players from quitting...
So i had more of a think about this issue and doing another ranger reroll i think i kinda understand whats going on.



If i have a bow + bow skills switching to xbox to drop turrets doesn't incur the reload bug or any issues related to crossbow use (no stuck animations with swapping weapon types and abilities). If i exclusive use xbox i get the animation issues and reload bug.



The running theory i have right now is that a variable is being shared that relates to either ammo or reload flagging while using a xbox. If you use an ability with low ammo, deplete it, then switch to something with ammo the bug happens. Seems reproducible, though not 100% sure what resets the variable/flag to reset stuck animations/reloads.


I realize this doesn't solve the bug sadly :\ Will keep testing to find a solution heh.
