FPS Drops with RTX 2080: Looking for Performance Improvement Tips

I don’t know if I’m the only one (which I doubt), but I have an RTX 2080 and experience significant FPS drops when gaming. My PC has no issues, and I believe I have a good setup, the 2080 is a very good graphics card. I even have some settings on low quality, yet I often face these annoying drops. I’d like to know if any of you have encountered similar problems and what you did to improve performance.
