Coop revive feels terrible

Dying in coop feels absolutly terrible. Revive takes too long to be a feasable option in most fights and sitting there waiting 5min without beeing able to to something until your buddy has maybe killed stuff or has walked to your corpse to revive feels like shit.

Just give the option to ressurect in town at least so one can actually play the game. Dying is no rare thing with this difficulty (which is good)

Agree, boss fight almost impossible to res my bro, keep getting interrupted.
I agree. I died in the Rust boss and my friend had to kite the boss to the other side of the map in order to just barely get a revive off on me. The duration it takes to revive someone may need to be tweaked.
I fully agree with this, and am commenting in hoping it receives a bump.

As it stands, with 2 player coop, it is virtually impossible to rez a coop partner in a Boss Fight (in particular). The timer is far too long and the amount of interrupts/trash mobs (in some cases) just makes reviving unviable.

As people have already stated, your only option is to either sit there watching your oppo try to take down the boss solo or die (all for the price of a single mistake OR some nonsense, off-screen crap that hit you and dropped you in one), or suicide to start again... which should never be the answer.

Not only that (playing on controller here), the amount of times the input simply doesn't register and kick off the little sparkly light show to revive is ridiculous. The boss fights are fast-paced; frenetic, and this needs a retune. I expect it is easier to pull off when there are 3 or more players, but right now, with 2 players, it's impossible, or at least virtualy impossible as me and my buddy have only managed it a couple of times, and that was the boss getting stuck on something.

Please, GGG; take a look at this and please try to make it a more accessible feature; it's not an enjoyable experience as it stands. Cheers.
Yes, and please think about couch co-op when designing a solution, since there would be no way for the dead player to revive at checkpoint/town.

I don’t think the real problem lies on the ressurrection time, though, but on the interrupt. Maybe make me more vulnerable or something, but as it is now, when it happens, we know the only solution is to just let the living one be killed and start over.

Yeah; good shout, mate. Give us more invulnerability when rezzing so we can't be "punted" out of it so easily. It also feels really "gamey" as, on so many times, you get to the point you feel that the rez should happen, and right at that point, the boss or a mob punts you out of it, like it was scripted!
Or you know, just don't die? Be thankful you already got option to even rez, in single player if you die you instantly fail the fight. Death is supposed to punish you for mistake, if you can just chain rez each other it just removes any difficulty.

The game is designed for you to defeat the boss in a single attempt. If you die, you should reset and try again. Party gameplay already provides an advantage because you have the possibility of attempting a revive if you manage to freeze, stun, electrocute, or kite the boss away. That alone is a significant benefit.

For example, I managed to revive my friend three times during the Doryani fight by freezing the boss and quickly going for the revive.

Allowing free revives during boss fights would trivialize the challenge. Reviving during a boss fight should be exceptional and meaningful, rewarding good strategy and timing when you manage to pull it off.

And thats fine. But then give me the option to revive IN TOWN while your partner is trying to finish the boss. That way i can do something else instead of sitting there and watching.

And what is the reason we cant revive during normal gameplay in campaign (not boss)? Is that supposed to be a challenge too? Sry but if you split up during campaign to find the exit and you die you HAVE to sit there and wait for your partner to revive you. This alone makes playing the campaign in coop an absolute trash experience and should not be in the game. There is challenge and there is just obnoxious game design. And this is the second one
