Enable Backspace as a Hotkey

Hi everyone,

I’m using a split keyboard where the spacebar is positioned on the right-hand side, and the Backspace key corresponds to the left-hand position. This layout is quite ergonomic and works well for my gaming experience. However, I’ve encountered an issue where Backspace cannot currently be assigned as a hotkey.

This limitation is affecting the fluidity of my gameplay, as I rely heavily on this specific layout for quick and intuitive controls. Allowing Backspace to be set as a hotkey would significantly improve the gaming experience, especially for users with unconventional or ergonomic keyboards.

I second this. I also bind backspace for all games that allow it due to my keyboard layout. Using Delete for evade now, but would love to be able to bind it to backspace.

Seconded. I can't use Delete either, as it's a layer toggle and has enough of a delay on it to seriously cripple me in any fight. Binding dodge-roll to Z or something is very hard to get used to.

Would like to bump this, having backspace as a keybind for dodge/sprint would be really helpful
