PS 5 client on PS 5 has crackly sound

I can play the same content with the same character/skills and on the PS 5 client I get some crackly sound artifacts as if there are random power spikes. It doesn't sound any louder or clipping just as if it introduces rogue electrical surges. I'm a bit scared for my audio equipment so maybe it's a good thing I have to go back to the PS 4 client anyway because of the constant game freezes. Although I'm dreading the resource handling on that one.
