No rewards from Legion 5-way fight

I was fighting a legion 5-way and died with ~20 seconds left on the timer and two full rows of loot. Loaded back into the arena and found no enemies but also no rewards.

The challenge for completing legions with 25 rewards also did not tick (this was going to be the third completion).
