Hey everyone, I'm rather new here but really interested in playing PoE once the game goes to open beta. But I was just wondering if there will be some kick ass gothic looking armor sets. I checked all over the net and on this site for screenshots or videos on how the gear will look like, but I just find the same looking gear. Is there going to be some really cool looking gear once this game is released? The graphics of this game for an arpg is AMAZING, the best out there so far for the arpg dungeon loot genre. I bet there will be some new skins for armor to be released at some point, looking cool is half the appeal in these types of games. As far as this is a priority in the current stage of beta I doubt sincerely, working on balanced gameplay seems to be of more importance at this time. To be honest I don't know what the developers are planning, but something as simple as reskinning armor takes so little time it would seem almost evident :). There is some decent plate armor floating around at around level 40+, however I think the general theme of POE is for gear to look like you found it in a heap next to some zombies. There may be more elegant/appealing armor, and I'm willing to bet that armor will be unique/rare and drop only from bosses. Likely, they'll also allow us to change the armor model of our gear using cosmetic tokens we can purchase.
