Righteous Fire and Inner Force Questions

I had a few questions, mainly relating to righteous fire.

If I take Inner Force and the other 2 buff effect points near it, is that going to increase the burning damage of righteous fire?

If so, will it only increase the burning damage enemies take or will it also increase the burning damage I take?

Oh right, I didn't really forget, rather overlooked, the fact that the buff would only increase self-damage and not enemy damage.

That said, I don't think this is really a problem, since it could still be useful for the spell damage bonus, if anyone finds a way for the skill to be very useful (aside from the regeneration totem which is totally OP)

I actually am using Inner Force with Righteous Fire.

It's not nearly as bad as it seems since IF allows you to get 13 max resist from ruby flasks, which when you have a Saffell's and a high level Purity, is much more than you lose from taking 30% more fire damage.

like so you have IF *maxed for 30%* umm... 13 max resists with buffs from ruby flasks.

and IF makes purity have an addition 1% to max resists so u get to 90 all fire resists....

wow... well okay ill consider doing something like that. i want the effect of RF up if its safe enough. also other things like discipline and other auras i may use well benefit from IF.

are you using RF as a spell caster build ? or...

and does IF increase the "MORE spell damage" from RF?

correct me if iam wrong but rf level 20 does 90 % more spell damage. thanks.

This is using RF both for aoe damage and to massively buff my spells. Currently it gives 69% final spell damage (times 1.3 from Inner Force!).

The setup is:
75 max fire resist normally
+5 from the passive Elemental Adaptation
+5 from Saffell's Frame unique shield
+2 from a high level Purity aura
= 87 fire resist.

Now Ruby Flasks give 10 max resist, but again, Inner Force increases that by 30% so I get 13 max fire resist instead. And of course, 13+87 = 100 fire resist, and now the fact that I'm burning for 30% more damage doesn't mean anything at all.

okay good advice buttt..

ruby flasks take a little time to fill up, say a few kills. Ied like to not rely on killing monsters in order to fill up my flasks. so i would be looking for flasks with the prefix surgeon on it.

say you can not fill your flask up, and most effects last for 4 seconds. there might be some downtime in between poping ruby flasks.
