M&K on console

Since it's been noted that PC will be receiving controller support, is there a chance console will be receiving mouse & keyboard support? These next gen consoles are as good as a gaming PC, performance wise, and I understand it's a smaller player base, but M&K support may draw some PC players over if they are looking in a different kind of "smaller market" challenge..... If expanding the console player base is a goal that is. As a console player this would mean a great deal to a lot of us.
