PS5/PS4 crashes when loading character

Hi, earlier today I teleported to town in act 1 and the game crashed with ps5 error code CE-108255-1. Since then this crash occurs every time trying to load my character. Things I have tried:
Creating a new character, same crash while loading in
Reinstalling game
Rebuild ps5 db
Install POE on an old ps4 and create a new character, crashed again while loading (CE-34878-0)
Use a different PSN account on ps4, same crash on a new character

Unfortunately the game is bricked for me and I am no longer able to play :(

Hey, I had EXACTLY THE SAME ISSUE! Was playing a non ladder character and went back to town Act 1 part 1 and got stuck at the loading screen and threw the same error code. I only picked up the PS5 yesterday so initially I thought it was hardware issue; I'm kinda glad you're having the same issue as its obviously a game bug. Have tried reinstalling the game, resetting the PS5. Have yet to try changing any settings in POE character load screen...

Same for me as well.

On PS5 and can't load a character without it crashing and sending me back to the PS5 dashboard with the respective error message.

Hotfix has resolved my issue
