Temple of Atzoatl : Corruption Alter and Lapidary Lens

Playing on XBL Via XSX : East Coast Server : Wired Connection
Corruption Alter and Lapidary Lens Alter do not have a equipment slot to use. Nor do we have a cursor to pull the lens/corruption gem to the item/gem. Is there a known Workaround? Is this disabled? Does it not work by clicking on the altar, (which should open your inventory) and then clicking on the item you want to use it on?
By "click on" I mean use the default select button, which is X on PS4. I don't know what it is on XBox. It's been quite a while since I used either of those Temple rooms, so I may be remembering wrong. | |

Nope, pressed every key. There is no box to accept the item for modification. On Pc you drag it to the gem/item. on xbox you transfer it over and usually hit RB. Will post vids soon

Hi,
You are thinking of the Apex of Ascension where you have to place the item inside the device and press RB. The Corruption Altar and Lapidary Lens just require an A input on the item, as was mentioned above. I have noticed that there is no bind being displayed for this however so I'll see if we can make these UIs more user friendly. | |

Thanks for the reply. I tried pressing "a" and it did not work while on the belt. Did not try it will the gem. I made videos after i tested everything i could think of.....
Will reconfigure for it again and test. |

I have this issue as well. First temple this league - corruption altar shows no key to use to cause corruption. I've tried A, B, X, and Y (running on Xbox One X). Also LB, RB, Ltrigger, Rtrigger, all 4 dpad, and both sticks. Nothing causes the corruption to happen on any item in my inventory, and I've tried several.
I have a screenshot. Because Y is labeled Pick Up I assumed I needed to move the item over. Doesn't work. I've been trying EVERYTHING I can think of on several items, but can't get it to do anything at all. I will note that I used a Vaal orb back in town since finding the Altar. I was back sorting through equipment trying to decide what to bring back. But I have not used the altar, and double checked what I was carrying. |

OK, I just tried one more time before abandoning the altar.
What I did different was that I HELD the A key. THEN I got a pop up asking if I wanted to corrupt the item - a to do or b to cancel - and hit a to do it. I have been thinking of reporting weird "key debouncing" issues on this version. I don't think my controller has any issues - it hasn't previously or in other games. But I get a LOT of weirdness in POE this league. Frequent dropped A's for example, and sometimes super-fast-double A's. I had hit A on items DOZENS of times in the corruption altar window just now. But it only worked at the end when I pressed and held... Hope that helps some other players, and maybe devs. Oh, and I am on the Xbox Series X - newest, not xbox one x. That's not the best naming scheme... |
