Edit : Managed to get by so removed most of my initial post.

I'm a CI Guardian using your build and I like the part where I don't die often, so I'd like to improve on that, could you give me some pointers on how to achieve that?

I'm skimming pages on the thread day by day but it's still hard for me to know where to go from now on.

Thank you !!

EDIT 2 : I really enjoy the idea of having this build and being invincible or close to that, if that helps give you an idea of what I want to do with it.

I read your reply and decided to restart with Templar.
This game’s system is very difficult for me, but I want to learn a lot through this build.
Thank you very much for your helpful reply!

Hello, I am from Japan. If my English sounds strange, I’m sorry.

I am a beginner and I would like to play Templar.

Is this build suitable for beginners?

Where should I start reading first? (I tried using translation tools to read this guide, but my English and PoE knowledge are still limited, so it is difficult for me to understand everything.)

I once played Templar on another save, but I gave up because I couldn’t build the character properly. Now I want to try again with Templar.

Do you think Templar is a good choice for beginners?

Hey Void!

When you have some time to read about the mechanics of path of exile, the build is good suitable, yes.

But because clusters and auras are a bit slower developing as some other more meta-skills, it's not the fastest build also and shines from 3 divine orbs investment upwards in maps.

Guardian and Trickster are the most easy ascendancies now from 3.26, yes.

The spoilers are thematical separated into damage, defences, all stats, etc.

The spoiler "TL;Dr" is showing most fast the progress, the "Herald of Agony step by step" the damage, "Beginning and Levelling" introduces the HoA-skill and guides the levelling, etc. Take the guide on page 483, it's much more complete as on page 1.

Best greetings to Japan!

No problem with bad english here in the thread, we are all exiles.
Arrigato!

Let me ask a question.
I've reached level 56 now.
I'm struggling with choosing equipment.
I want gear with 4-link sockets, but it either has no resistance stats or low armour values.
I'm using orbs to change socket colours and modify the link status of sockets.
For now, I'm using orbs and crafting on gear that has decent sockets, links, and good mods to make it as usable as possible.
Will I run into trouble later in the game if I don't try to avoid using orbs and such?

How does everyone else get their levelling gear?

You can use while levelling almost all orbs for crafting.

Later in endgame and maps you will earn in 5 minutes the currency you earned before in 10 hours of levelling.

Best leveling equipment (Cybil's paw, clusters, Circle of nostalgia, Maw of conquest, Rare gloves with integrated chance to poison) are listed in the spoiler "Beginning and Leveling" --> "The Gear Progression | 3 --> 4 --> 5 --> 6 links".
Trade with Faustus of Kingsmarch after the acts some stacked decks and fight some mercenaries for currency.

Prefer resistances over armour values. Armour / Physical damagereduction you get first from the skill Arctic armour and later from the aura Discipline and Granite flask.

Thank you for your reply.
So, does that mean if I look at the URL below, I'll understand the leveling method?

Cybil's Paw is a unique item, right? Is there a convenient website where I can check which enemies have a higher drop rate for it?
