Wondering if culling strike of reapers pursuit axe is bug or not

currently using Reaper's Pursuit Axe (Unique 2 handed axe)
it have culling strike.. i use item rarity gem 20% and item quantity gem 20% quality.. when i use skills and killed by culling strike it drops lower than i usually gets.. maybe the active skill gems doesn't get the rarity gem and quantity gem when "culling strike" activates can you guys check this out. maybe i was wrong or it was really a bug? I have tested this again with use of the axe with skills attached to Item Quantity and Item Rarity support gems, both the rarity and number of items dropping with the item when killed by Culling Strike was increased.

thanks for the response..
so its more like having a culling strike gem attached to every skills? but im really confused.. my gems are on chest not on my axe.. 5 linked chest with arc + item rarity + item quantity + spell totem + fast cast when i kill mobs it drops low.. but not equipping the axe it drops high. |

I killed bosses repetitively on a local copy of your character, so I was using the exact same items/setup.
With and without the axe there is no difference in quantity, there is probably a difference in rarity but it's too hard to notice without a large sample size, but that's because the axe has rarity. It is indeed the same as having the support gem attached to every skill (except the other stats that culling strike has, such as the attack speed/cast speed) You will need to provide screenshots of with/without axe clearly labelled from the same boss (for example kill Brutus a few times with, and a few times without) if I haven't been able to convince you. | |

I had the issue with that Axe before some recent patch that fixed Culling Strike interaction with rarity/quantity gems.
But I've been using it regularly since (it's my weapon switch with rarity/quantity gems attached to an attack) and drops have been pretty consistent with that I'd expect from the extra 91% rarity and 34% quantity it's giving me. IGN: EthInvictus

i think its still bugged. useing heavy strike with rarity + quantity , and if the boss is for example burning after a crit strike he drops much lower then if he is not. same if he has more then 10% hp when u hit him and culling striking procks after the initial attack the loots are much less. POE desiners should rly look into it.
