Why is the poe trade site not working anymore?

Its more then a week after the league start, the trade site is horrible: rarely responsing at all, very slow , not working at all.

Is there an official statement about that?

It's not working properly because trade API is poorly designed AND GGG do not commit human resources into fixing this issue. Another problem is that despite the significant growth and even buyout by Tencent they still work like small indie company because of their restriction of workers to live in NZ (even tho there is no reason why ppl such as web developers couldn't work from abroad). So now we have weekend and expect a statement no sooner than Monday (if at all).

So for now, I suggest to use poe.trade - it has its own issues for a while now, including slow updates and thus delayed whispers etc, but at least it is working and is usable.

They don't care about server stability or the trade site or bugs or broken gameplay. The only thing they care about is how many microtransactions you purchase because that's the only metric they use to determine the success of an expansion.

If we want things to improve then everyone has to stop buying microtransactions until GGG folds and dedicates resources to fixing the problems.

Seems GGG has really dropped the ball this league in general wrt quality of service. Would be such a waste, years of building and growing this game to become #1 ARPG then to let it all go due to lazy, sloppy and poor business practices.

If they fix it its okay, but tomorrow we are 1 1/2 weeks into the league.

Ye trade site has been lagging indeed, for a couple of days now for me atleast. I prefer it to poe.trade, hence i hope it gets fixed soon. Trading in this game is dodgy enough, so having the site lag too is just bs :p

Nothing like getting a few lucky trades to refresh the page and then see the same people you traded with selling what you just purchased...because they don't actually have it. Dodging AFkers was an issue all to itself and now you have to dodge them and people who are offline but appear online, as well as people with 0 stock.
