The unplayable state of PoE on PS4

Hi !

I installed the game about 3 weeks ago on my PS4 , at first i thought it's a good console port , i'm level 65~ ish and rolling a shadow soulrend build , the game has gotten unplayable , the large amount of lag and stutter that the game faces is unbelievable . Every time i move the lag starts and it gets even worse in combat , fps drops to 5 most of the time and then comes back 10 seconds while the screen is frozen , i didn't have these issues when i started playing , i created a witch and i found out it's not only my soulrend build that might be causing fps issues because of the effects . I played red dead 2 and Spiderman again and they work just fine on my console ! What is worse is that there are so many others like me facing these issues and GGG still hasn't responded yet . Please let's discuss these issues so that the game gets out of this unplayable state on PS4 . I love the game and it's such a waste to see it like this

Same here. Game lags so hard it's unbelievable. I have so many saved videos of me dying to ridiculous stutters and framerate drops. I can't take this game seriously on PS4, it just doesn't run properly.

Yea looks like they dont care anymore I really wonder what happened to the team of ggg that they perform so poorly on this port...

Agreed. Same for Xbox. Although we've been used to trash performance on Xbox for years now. Bugs that have been around for 6 leagues or more are still persistent (movement skill desync/rubberbanding, still no in game chat, trade boards are a joke). PC is where they make their money.

Same issue here, especially with my necromancer with 11 zombies + 12 skeletons + 3 spectre. Mapping is a nightmare at some point I cannot see anything on a slideshow....
At the moment mapping on PS4 is just suffering...

Unless I was playing with someone else, I never had this much lag during synthesis. Since legion the lag is unreal. The crashes have gotten much less frequent but the constant lag and the desync is unreal.

After the pach 3.7.3 the game crushes constantly.Please i was about to kill kitava.

The problem is that the hard drive is the absolute worst copy the game to an SSD and it runs like butter

Same. Cyclone desync all the time. Super frustrating. On FiOS with PS4 Pro.

Anyone test the SSD idea with a before and after?

Feels awfully random. Some nights I can go hours with little trouble. Other nights I’m better off not playing. Feels like a server issue.

ssd makes no change, tryed this... crashes and crashes and crashes and...
