poe.trade on ps4 @ GGG?

Hi,

will be poe.trade ever working on PS4 too, or is it not wanted from the Developers?

I mean just an example:

Synthesis/SC:

Vis Mortis, any stats @ PC: 1 Alch
Vis Mortis, any stats @ PS4: 40 Chaos Orb

Why I have to spend 80x times the currency amount?

This system is really disappointed at the moment.

Didn't see any problem here. U can sell urs stuff expensive aswell.

I have heard that developers do not want poe.trade or even a more searchable/filterable Trade Market for consoles.

I think they feel the spirit of the game is to really have to search for, or find yourself, the right gear for you.

Trade Market is annoying when compared to the precision searching of poe.trade, but you can find what you are looking for if you are willing to spend the time searching. It is also possible to get great deals on certain rare items because rares are very hard to price.

Currency trading in bulk is the most annoying, because there is no buy-it-now feature, and most people do not sell orbs in bulk (unless for a rip off). Unless you want to get ripped off, it is best to trade for Chromatics in stacks of 20, which if you are trying to get alot, can take a long time.

Ps4 players always been greedy. Tax them back

The complaint of costs on PC vs ps4 is silly. There's significantly less people playing PS4 than PC probably and saturation of the market sets the price trends

I have tried both and reverted to PC because of this - it's very annoying because on ps4 pro it feels smoother and I prefer gamepad control. It does impact when you sail into maps on a PC with a solid 5 link and all the uniques your build requires (within reason) when on ps4 you have to really select a SSF cheap build otherwise a 5 link costs exalts!


Example mid season

Ps4 hit maps with Bane/ED/Contagion build now need queen of forest 5 link PS4 price 5 exalts!

PC price 15 chaos

Its mostly greed,for some rare uniques the prices are fair, but for the most part people just hope theyll sucker someone into buying at a higher price,its bad for the community in the long run. I try to price cheap when i can.

Yes, some players are pricing shit way beyond what would be normal, some just don't understand or never played on PC.
That being said, you have to understand a few things.

First off, PC has had 6 years to build up it's player base, since it's not cross play this will divide both xbox AND PS4 users to their own servers.

PC also has BOTS. Sure, some of them may be running an RMT setup but regardless this floods the market with not only currency but items too.
Two weeks can pass in a new league and prices drop.
So, You have all these players and BOTS flooding the market place which brings prices down.

PS4 has a FRACTION of it's PC counterparts player base. Go to Poe.trade and search for an item. You will sift through pages and pages of people who are online and have their tabs/store set up.

You will be lucky if there's 10 pages of "online now" traders on the board.

Prices are stupid high but this also means people are buying for the same prices. I've been undercutting because I am not a dick and I've been doing ok. I am able to afford what I need so it evens out.

Trust me, I was just as pissed off and disgusted with the prices at first, but right now this is how things are priced and because of that you also have the chance to be able to make what you need to move forward. You don't need to be greedy and if you undercut you will still make out fine.

Just be sure when you're undercutting that the prices that others are posting are around the same, don't want to find a good item that's being "sold" super cheap so you make yours lower just to find out the "seller" was scamming to get others to sell there's for mad cheap just to buy yours and run off to make a profit. Ever wonder why you get declined on a trade that was priced cheap? That's why.

Regardless of inflated prices. One sure thing that needs to happen is people need to stop selling items with an asking price and then reject the offer for no damn reason.

I would rather the system be changed to where if the item is submitted for an asking price then it is taken from them (greyed out in stash for 24 hours before you can interact with it again.) I am tired of these dumbasses wasting my time rejecting offers with an asking price.
