Hey ztreyer, this error can sometimes occur when the new email address you are trying to use is already linked to another Path of Exile account.

You should be able to add another email address to your account without any errors but we can free up the email address in use for you, if you contact us at support@grindinggear.com like Zphyr has mentioned.
