100% Atlas Bonus - lower Maps drop

I have 100% atlas bonus and there drop maps with lower tier level.
For example, I run T6 Burial Chamber (100% atlas bonus) and there drops maps with T1-5. How is this possible?!?

The Bonus says "100% chance for maps to drop one tier higher".
but thats not true...
There droped 5 maps and 2-3 of them are lower as the tier i ran.

This is not a bug.

The Atlas Bonus does not force Maps to drop one tier higher than the Map you are currently in, but rather one tier higher than they otherwise would have been. A tier 5 Map would have been a tier 4 Map otherwise. Getting lower tier Map drops is very much intentional.

So basicly "atlas bonus" is bs that doesnt matter ... the should have put what it exactly does all that time i thought that it will drop 1 tier map higher then i run .

No, you misunderstand. If you run say a T6 map, white mobs can drop maps of T1-6. magic and rare are T1-7 and bosses are T1-8. Now if you had no atlas bonus and T3 map drops, it will be a T3. If you have a 100% atlas bonus, it will be a T4. It will never go over the limit though. So if a white mob drops a T6, it will stay a T6.

It does help. A lot. Just not as much as you were hoping.

No, T1 maps will drop in T1 maps, because white mobs in T1 maps cannot drop anything highter than T1 maps. The bonus is wasted on them.

Obviously that applies to mobs outside of maps as well.

T1 is an exception, they can always drop

basically atlas bonus lets you drop higher tier maps in average which is always worth it, you can progress through atlas faster and sustain the highest tier maps easier

you wouldn't want maps to drop only 1 tier higher, because you will run out of them (lower tiers) and then you have to buy some to get red elder / uber elder, because you'd be stuck with only T16 maps.
