Energy Shield Leech Build

I want to maximize the potential for ES Leech, but I'm unsure how. Soulrend is the skill for that, but does it only leech from hits and not DoT? What build is optimal if I want every ES leech node? What's more beneficial, CI or low life? I need Shavronne's Wrappings for LL, but then I miss out on the ES bonus from Escape Artist.

There is a lot of hype around Soulrend + Bane, but I'm fine with just focusing on Soulrend. With a lack of curse synergy, I think Trickster fits better.

Edit: Foresight & Potency of Will can be replaced with Spiritual Aid. Found out skill effect duration isn't that good with just Soulrend.

Soulrend has good leech built into it, but since only the hit can leech, and not the DoT, I dont think the leech is going to be that impactful in the end, for Soulrend.

Then what build would use those ES leech nodes? Winter Orb Occultist? There are ES leech nodes for each elemental damage at the top.
