Wand and Staff

I'm confused between wand and staff. As a witch, we should use wand, but damage of staff always higher wand. And i read a few skill build, people often don't add any point for wand damage. So someone can tell me please, which weapon is the best for witch?

quite honestly, for witch the weapon doesn't matter if you are building as a spell caster. Im lvl 30 and i took off the auto attack. All my best abilities are without it and with Clarity at lvl 8 I never run out of mana. Just pick up any weapon that has good stats on it. But if you are low levels and need to auto attack go with the wand. The staff is actually meant for the templars =/. And they are 2 handed where as the wand is 1 handed and you should use an offhand though the offhand should be a focus for spell casting.

You can dual weild wands :)

I assume its just random luck of the stats draw but I tend to find scepters have better +% spell dmg than wands of similar lvl.

I see, that's why i confused between wand and staff.. while people's advice is wand. What we care? DPS or element damage or total damage? I found if we use staff, damage always higher wand with offhand is a focus for spell casting.

staffs are bad for the witches dude........
Increased elemental damage/cold damage/lightning damage/fire damage ,increased critical strike damage/chance ,ALL THESE WORK WITH SPELLS,unless you see them have this addeed "with weapons" .Same rule applies for passives.
YES only witches can dual weild wands pew pew pew.
Spell damage witches are good and wand damage ones are good too just don't mix them and ruin your character.There's of cource the summoner witch too,or that dude's build that has 14-15 thousand energy shield and he didn't even finnish the build
