Tanky bosskiller bow build suggestions

Hey there,
I would like to ask for help with bow builds for next league. Last bow build I played was physical tornado shot 4-5 years ago, so my knowledge about these kinds of builds is minimal. I am mostly interested in scourge arrow, rain of arrows and elemental hit and I would prefer ranger/scion class. Of course other spells like tornado shot, ice shot, etc. are great options as well. If you want a Tanky Build you have to pick Scion, Marauder or Duelist.
Then decide if you want to build phys or elemental dmg. Champion can get perma fortify which is awesome and some good dmg bonus. |

Scourge arrow deadeye, with kaoms heart chest, acrobatics and phase acrobatics, grace aura, and blind on some jewels. It’s all about layering defences, life, dodge, evasion and blind, also for bow builds decoy totem is your best friend.

for tanky bow builds
classes: scion slayer/take your pick: over leech, lots of skill points, insane scaling with currency (double might of the meek/unatural instinct). champion: perma fortify, cant be stunned, enemies cant evade (doesnt need accuracy), build in 20% more dmg. jugg: cant be stunned, cant be slowed, frozen, chilled, temp. chained, more movement speed, gets lots of free accuracy, endurance charge generation, reduced dmg taken. skills: fire converted barrage -> arborix + signal fire + xophs blood/watchers eye with phys to fire conversion. Lots a single target dmg, needs proj pen. from the tree (or deadeye, less tanky though) for clearing or a second skill like tornado shot. expensive. hopeshredder + abyss jewels flat cold scourge arrow, SA is prob. the most op bow skill right now. only disadvantage: you gonna hate doors :) full fire converted elemental hit on a +3 skill gems thicket bow is really strong and freaking expensive if you want to min/max. rain of arrows is mediocre for single target. something like doomfletch prism or a cold converted high phys dps bow works well. vaal pact is an option and of course bows can use kaoms without sacrificing a 6 link. You can try pure phys champion rain of arrows with blood magic.
Pros: 1- 8~9k life pretty easily 2- Can get 20k armor + oak + indomitable + soul of steel + rampart (optional) 3- Perma Fortify Cons: No auras. Your DPS will be according to your money: Expensive gear: acceptable Cheap gear: pretty poor Hipster, fun and no meta build, but safe. raider can easily evade cap. play a build which can let you use kaom's and you'll always be super tanky. 7-8k life with 98% attack avoidance and like 60% spell avoidance is pretty fucking enormous defenses for very very little investment.
also you can get immunity to ailments and phasing as well if you go avatar of the chase (for the evade) and avatar of the veil. tankiest option IMO |
