How to craft 4 sockets of same colour ?

How do I craft 4 sockets of the same colour ? If I use the crafting bench in my hideout I can't craft less than 4 sockets so I can't remove one and re-add hoping it will come back as the same colour as the other 4. Selecting the "3 of same colour" option won't help if I already have 3 of the one colour - or will it ? I'm trying to craft 4 blue sockets on a helmet without much luck at the moment (I can 4 link it later easily enough).

How you color the sockets depends on what level the item is and what the attribute requirement is.

Go back in content and find the lower level socket recipes you skipped.

Should mention I'm in Standard league not Betrayal so I don't believe I can use Vorici or Helen. If someone can craft for free that would be fine, but I'd like to give it a go myself first. There is a trick you can do with the vorici socket recipe which will probly be easier than burning chromes on it.
