Physical damage Reduction + of Physical Damage from Hits taken as element question
how exactly this mechanic works and when this conversion occurs?
if I have 90% physical damage reduction it is worth using this mod on armor and whether it's worth it to use if you have 90% physical reduction with 75% max res? l play Cwdt jug agony so the next question arises whether mod like this will triger mine CWDT more often from Physical attacks when they will be taken as fire they will not be reduced by armor but by resistances? in theory, if your phys damage reduction is higher that your resists then you will take more damage with these "taken as" mods
but do you really have this phys reduction? Against small hits, sure, but against big phys hits 90% (or even 80%) pdr is very hard to achieve. IGN: Eric_Lindros

" Small hits dont matter only ones from shaper uber elder or malakhai) if l se the damage on 10000 per hit pob shows 75% with The Brass Dome on rare Armour 1500 with 15% phy taken as fire this reduction go on 45% only but there is that conversion node, From Pob l need 100000 Armour vs 10000 hit to get 90% Dernière édition par real_name_hidden69#7257, le 9 févr. 2019 à 10:30:47

also take into account that "phys damage taken as" mod reduces phys damage entering mitigation, making armour more effective.
I dont know how PoB calculates this.. I always use MS Excel for such calculations IGN: Eric_Lindros

" So yes from that numbers having this phy damage taken as element is still better vs 10000 k hits there is no way to get 100k stative armour Maybe with 10 endurance charges and 2 nebulach maces+ max item armour stats |

* 10 endurance charges + jugg = 50% pdr
* aspect of the crab set (3 items) can provide reliable 20% pdr (30% if you were not hit by phys damage for 2.5 seconds) * there is also Soul of steel, Oak reward, pantheon defenses and various pdr mods on gear.. so theoretically its possible to reach 90% pdr with zero armour at your calculation: 100k armour gives 50% reduction of 10k hit. so to reach 90%, you need 40% flat pdr from charges or other sources. if you managed to get more flat pdr, armour needed to reach cap would be significantly lower IGN: Eric_Lindros CET: Timezone Dernière édition par Ludvator#6587, le 9 févr. 2019 à 11:05:38
