Crafting a warlords mark on hit ring

Hi,

how would you proceed with crafting, when you have this ring?



I was hoping for split recipe into multimod, but thats not possible. I already wasted a lot of alterations after annulling, because every time the elder mod was removed.

If you would exalt this, is it possible to block anything special?

Do you need quite specific affixes here?
If I just need an 'OK' warlords mark on hit (Some resistance, life/mana roll etc) I normally go for chaos spam. It's not that hard to hit, and saves the exalts - especially at current exalt to chaos rations.
Crafted life is fairly decent these days if you miss a life roll.

E.g something like

Annul + multimod + add one suffix + 3 prefix modifiers.

It´s worth using multimod if you want some specific modifiers such as

+1 to Minimum Power Charges

+(34–40) to maximum Mana
6% of Damage taken gained as Mana over 4 seconds when Hit

Adds (9–12) to (13–16) Cold Damage
Adds 1 to (19–24) Lightning Damage

(17–20)% increased Damage
….

If you fail to annul unwanted affix you can try to use chaos spam or rather specific fossils (or alts/regal again eventually).

Wow. I used almost 2500 alterations to hit that mod twice. Not sure if I have enough chaos to ever get to that mod.

If I multimod an item, can I replace single crafted mods without removing the multimod itself?

Once you hit smth good (worth more than base) you can sell it instead of reroll and get new base.
(Fossils are much better than chaos - you can block unwanted mods etc).

Btw you can´t change affixes once mods are crafted (without removing multimod) so be sure what you want (you can use only divines).

Thanks for that info. Even though I got a few rare mods, I still lack the highest tier of life and (global) damage crafts.

Looks like I have to grind syndicate a bit more.



My ring itself is ready for multimodding though.
