Can 30% Quality Menagerie Corruption Destroy my Weapon?

Just crafted a good roll 6-linked bow. For more Phys Dmg I thought of trying the 30% Quality Corruption that you can do in the Menagerie of Einhar. Now does it only corrupt and change the Quality of the item?
So does it only affect the Phys Dmg positively and that I cannot put other orbs on it anymore such as changing Colors by Chromatics? Everything else such as the Bow itself and of course links MUST stay the same (900 Fusings Investment! ;) )

Corrupted makes changing colors alot more expensive
Can't comment on it being destroyed or not, but you'll need to pay vaal orbs as well as croms to recolor.
Guess you already know that ofcourse.

I am almost 100% certain all it does is add the quality and change the status of the item to corrupted. I don't think it has the same chance to brick an item like a Vaal Orb does. I could be wrong, but I have only ever used it as a final step for an item. Never lost any sockets, links or colors because of it. Never got a new implicit, or a bricked yellow. Just 30% quality and the item becomes corrupted.

ANSWER: The Menagerie (Blood Altar) 30% Quality Corruption did not brick my weapon.
