A new active and support gem to make "Chain" more interesting
Hello,
I like builds which require you to use multiple active skills to be successful. Ofc it reduces clearspeed, but some don't play for the speed but for the fun. And there may be some players who can utilize this gem to it's full potential: Active Skill: Chain Totem - Tags: Totem, Spell, AoE - Description: Summons a totem that acts as a target for chaining skills, which can be chained multiple times by the same skill. Projectiles will always favour to chain to the totem after having hit an enemy. Projectiles may chain to the same target again after having chained to the chain totem. - Per 1% Quality: increases damage of chained projectile by 0.5% per chain This skill is made for players who wanted to bring out the full damage potential of chaining skills. Ofc a chain to this totem will count as a chain and therefore reduces the number of total chains on an enemy. On the other side, it increases your 1v1 damage alot, since the same projectile can hit the same target multiple times. Support Gem: Chain Reaction - Description: Supported Skill deals 30% less damage Support Skill deals (25-44%) more damage per chain - Per 1% Quality: Supported Skills deal 0.5% more damage This Skill is useful when using the chain support gem or skills that have a natural high number of chains. It's like reverse point blank for chaining abilities. The longer you chain, the bigger your damage output is. On the other side, your initial hit is alot weaker, effecting your clearspeed and also puts you in more danger because enemies probably stay up longer if your inital hit isnt strong enough. I think these gems would be nice, since they allow for new interactions with chain and there are alot chain based skills in PoE or skills that can utilize the chain support gem. With the totem, players will probably be very crafty to create new builds that utilize this new mechanic and bring out the full potential of chain. Dernier bump le 24 déc. 2018 à 01:17:29
