Delve guide for dummies

Hi all!
This is my first league and I'm confused. I read somewhere that tha 5L and 6L recipes are deep in the Delve, but how should I delve? What should I upgrade? Do I need to finish all the quests to go deeper? How to delve deeper and farm Azurite fast? All help appreciated. Thanks in advance!! "There's no thing like random one-shots in this game. As long as you have enough sulphite, delve as deep as you want/can. After you encounter Niko, you are free to do what you want.
I recommend keeping darkness resistance as high as you can, followed by light radius. Darkness will kill you fast otherwise. Increase capacity when you feel like you need it. Then upgrade flares, and leave dynamite to last (tip: dynamite damage and radius won't help you destroy walls). Remember to avoid the exploding blue cockroach things and the canine looking nasty creatures. They are painful. The first levels are as fruitless for azurite farming as in the last league... personally I would dig deeper since the return is much better the lower you are. I didn't delve very deep in Delve, so can't really give you specialized suggestions. |

I have encountered Niko but I am not seeing the sulfite ... when does that appear?

You encounter sulphite, not Niko- he is only there to gather your sulphite. Sulphite nodes appear randomly on maps while levelling and then doing atlas in the end-game. It is so random that you can have 3 maps with sulphite in a row or not see Niko during twenty maps. Sometimes you can have Syndicate and Niko on the same map but when Alva appears you can be sure sulphite node will not. At least it never happened to me to see Alva and Niko together.
Let's admit it- PoE is a fukkn boring grind game [G.G.G. made it, LOL] so you have to keep entering maps and keep killing millions of mobs hoping that you encounter what you need. Dernière édition par argazedon#5425, le 27 févr. 2019 à 12:28:27

For the 6L, you just need to keep going deeper (you can start going wider below depth 270 if you want) until you find primeval ruins. This is the city type that Aul lives in, but you don't actually need to find Aul himself.[/quote] 2 more things 1) you need a city node within the abyssal city/primeval ruins - a zero node biome can appear and won't work! 2) Boss nodes do not count. Yes it's possible for your first ever primeval ruins node to be Aul and then no 6 link recipe for you (although it's still the best case scenario Aul drops can be awesome) |
