404 Error while installing the game

Hi everyone,

I am new to this game and have a problem to install it.
The installer stops after a while with a connection failure, because it couldn't find this ressource:
http://patch103.pathofexile.com:8095/patch/3.3.1.4/Art/Textures/Environment/Act3/gears_bronzens.dds
And I, if copied correctly from the MessageBox-Window, can't open it either.

Can someone help me :)

Hey,
I may have found a little workaround that helped me when I got the same error message during the download of the game client installer via the PoE website.

I have downloaded the game via my Steam account a 2nd time without that problem.
Now there are 2 options.
Either you can play it via Steam, but only if you want to link the PoE account with Steam.
Or you can exchange the file Content.ggpk in the PoE folder with the Steam PoE version Content.ggpk file.

Afterwards I could start my standalone PoE game version without a problem.

got this Problem on both - steam and stand alone - for 5 days now and cant play.

in steam i cant login with an error regarding textures or models (randomly sth).
And the stand alone client cant download because of the 404 error.

Also to copy the content from one folder to the other doesnt work.

and there are no fixes yet...

Downloading thrue steam helped me :)

same problem 404 with dominustotem.acd. 99.95% download completed

same problem here. It stops installing on different positions with differnt error messages while dowloading. It seems there is no stable connection with the poe server.
VERY frustating and time consuming.

Same problem here, going on for 4 days and still can't play because game can't patch itself, and not even a response from the devs. That's the first time in my experiencie with POE (devs at least gave a solution or ETA). I hope it gets fixed before the race.
