There's no good way to build non-golem Elementalist
 Paragon of Calamity - this is the most useful and the most reliable node, every non-golem Elementalist should take it. But now you have a problem, you can't take both Beacon of Ruin and Mastermind of Discord. So you have to choose only one. That's 6 ascendancy points. Now what choices do you have for 2 final uber points? Liege of Primordial - garbage, if you don't summon many golems. Pendulum of Destruction - totally unreliable, literally half useless on non AoE builds. Shaper of Desolation - again unreliable, unless you're playing Elemental Hit or something. So in the end you have: - 1 great node (Calamity), - 1 "ok" node (Beacon of Ruin or Mastermind of Discord), - 2 garbage nodes. I think, the nodes order should be rearranged. Or connect the Beacon of Ruin with the Mastermind of Discord, like GGG did with Trickster. Dernier bump le 26 févr. 2018 à 15:29:42

I’ve done well without Paragon of Calamity on my Elementalist, and she doesn’t need golems.

" Paragon of calamity is a terrible node. 0.5% life leech, not even mana. conditional damage reduction and increase, the very reason, why it was a shit node before. damage reflection isn't a thing anymore, so this node is utter irredeemable garbage. go golem or bust, anything else on this ascendancy is shit. |

" because triple herald? but witch is not best class for attack builds, so herald of ash only useful for the 2 or 3 phys spells. meaning u get ele scaling for phys spells. good for conversionbuilds, but otherwise you leave 1/3rd of the node useless. feels awkward to me. taking a strong node and only using 2/3rd of it. or feeling like "i have to play phys spell conversion now with this to make efficient use of it" Unknown rule type: SetFondSize
