XSOLLA wtf

what is up with xsolla I keep trying with different forms of payment it wont take any of them is this a know problem

I would like to spend my $$$$$$$$ I'm sure you guys want em so fix or get rid of xsolla

This is what happens when people whine for more payment options rather than use the previously existing ones because of some minor inconvenience.

They won't be getting rid of Xsolla but Chris did say they are going to bring back the old payment handler, just no eta.

Pro tip: steam continues to be a reasonable way to purchase credits, which you can then spend and use without having to run the steam version of the game long term. I'm sorry for your suffering tho.

Yeah, I went to buy the $30 base supporter pack, and was surprised to find none of the old payment methods available. Even the straight CC purchase, which does not currently say it uses Xsolla (all the other options do,) tried to put me through Xsolla. In the end I decided to just do Paypal through them as it seemed the safest option.

I am on disability and so don't have a lot of money (especially at this time of the year,) so I pay close (very close... maybe OCD close) attention to details. One of the things I have always checked when making a purchase in PoE was the exchange rate from USD as I am Canadian. It has always lined up almost perfectly with the current exchange rate listed online. Interestingly, when I checked the exchange rate for the purchase through Xsolla, it was $1.50 higher than it should have been. I don't know if they save exchange rates from different times of the day, or different days, or if they just add a fee to use their service... all I know is I won't be purchasing anything through Xsolla. When the old payment methods come back, I will give GG my money again.

Just tried to purchase points, put me through this xsolla system which already had my details on file (and I had never used them at all ... how so?), and yet those saved details did not even work, I have bought points fine with cr card in the past using the old and more reliable and USABLE system.

So now no points, and the only way I can see getting them is to go through paypal which would require me to update all my paypal stuff with new details .. sigh.

Why fix when not broken?

What's with this Xsolla crap? This is really annoying- I've bought points in the past fine with CC payments, but this stupid system does nothing but throw errors and just randomly close the tab without even confirming or anything.
Don't want my money GGG? Okay!? :(
