Debeon's Dirge Map Clearer - Mainly Flicker Strike but can use almost any attack

Hello, This is my very first build guide. For the purpose of this build, i'll be using Flicker Strike as my example. since this build is meant to clear maps and not bosses. and i feel like Flicker Strike is fastest way to do so.

I'm gonna try and make it as beginner friendly as i possibly can, since this is meant to be a cheap build that can give ALOT of returns in terms of raw currency, just by farming maps.

DISCLAIMER: IT IS NOT MEANT TO KILL BOSSES! IT IS MEANT TO CLEAR MAPS FAST AND EFFICIENTLY!

Why use this build?: It's very very cheap. You can get the required uniques for less than 4 Chaos as of the time writing this guide. It clears maps in less than 2 minutes, and there's room to scale anything you want. I would prefer Items such as Bisco's Amulet.

For the people who just already knows the game, i'll post the pastebin to Path of Building Below.

PATH OF BUILDING:

Keep in mind, in these videos i'm only using self found gear.

REQUIRED GEAR:
These items are cheap, but required for the build.
Spoiler

Debeon's Dirge is the weapon this whole build Revolves around.
As for the "Cold Steel" Jewel, i'll you show where to put it later

EXPLANATION:
This build revovles around Debeon's Dirge. It's a 2handed cold axe with very high damage if you use a warcry. The item itself only has cold damage, but you can use any skill that has the "ATTACK" tag, if you're in doubt of what that means, hover over a skillgem ingame and look at the top, just beneath the name. it has tags, if "ATTACK" is one of them. you can use that skill for this build. The reason is of how the interaction between "ATTACK" and weapons works. an attack deals damage based on what damage type your weapon has. in our case cold.

This build relies heavily on the generation of Frenzy Charges, Flicker Strike can spend a Frenzy charge to have its cooldown bypassed. Frenzy Charges also increases your attack speed, movement speed and gives you a 4% damage multiplier pr frenzy charge. So we are stacking as many frenzy charges as we can.

It also relies on the use of a warcry to proc the effect on Debeon's Dirge.

LEVELING:

I strongly recommend leveling with Frostblades since we will be scaling cold damage early. But any Physical attack should work just fine. The reason i recommend frostblades is because you get the skill very early. and it can carry you all the way untill we transcend into Flicker Strike or whatever skill you prefer using and it also has Threshold jewels you can use while leveling. The only limit is that the skill has to be an attack, and be either pure Cold, pure Physical, or a mix between the two. Like Frostblades.

Bandits are: Kill all

SKILL TREES:

Spoiler

NOTE: Points does not equal levels, since you get passive tree skill points from quests while leveling.

First 28 Points:
This is where you'd put your first Threshhold jewel if you are using Frostblades

60 Points:
This is the jewel socket where you'd put your Cold Steel Jewel. We also start picking up Health for survivability:

83 Points:
This is where you'd put your second Threshold Jewel. If you have 2 of these jewels, I would rush this point earlier. or put it the 2nd threshold jewel in the slot where the "Cold Steel jewel goes, and don't use the "Cold Steel" Jewel until you transsision into your main skill.

119 Points:

This is Basically the full skill tree. This requires level 96 to achieve.

Frostblade links for leveling:
If you have a +1 tabula rasa or just a regular tabula, i'd prefer leveling with that.
Spoiler
Frost blades - Ice bite - Elemental damage with attacks - added cold - faster attacks -
Elemental Focus

ASCENDENCY:

Our Acendency is Raider, due to the sustain of frenzy charges, and the +1 to maximum frenzy charges. It also provides a 40% damage increase to elemental damage, aswell as makes you immune to freeze, ignite and shock ailments while phasing. And you will automaticly phase while you're at maximum frenzy charges. This buff will last for 4 seconds, even if you spend a frenzy charge. And will keep refreshing itself, as long as you have Maximum frenzy charges.

ASCENDENCY ORDER:

WHEN TO GO FLICKER STRIKE:
I would not recommend going Flicker Strike untill you've killed Kitava in Act10. I personally went Flicker Strike as soon as i hit maps. around level 65-68. I had killed Kitava and i had done Normal and Cruel Labyrinth to get my Avatar of the Slaughter.

When you transsision, remember to switch your threshold jewels to any rare jewel you can afford. Look for Cold Damage, Life, attack speed and Damage with 2handed weapons or axes.

RECOMMENDED ITEMS:

Any boots with +1 Frenzy charge and health. I chose Kaom's Roots because they're cheap, even with +1 to frenzy charges. They offer nice health, and makes Temporal chains less of an annoyance to us.
Secondly i would highly recommend a Bisco's amulet, since this build is meant to farm maps, we want as high chance for items to drop as possible. It is possible to get +1 to maximum frenzy charges on an amulet, but this is usually very expensive and defeats the purpose of the build. and since i'm recommending bisco's amulet. Getting a +1 Frenzy charge on that amulet is REALLY expensive.
Spoiler

GEM LINKS:
This build will require a 5link to feel good, but a 6link really ups your clearspeed. For this Purpose i use a Tabula Rasa since its a free 6link and makes the build feel so much faster. But ANY chest will work, as long as you have a minimum of 5links in either weapon or chest.

NOTE: You have 2 possible 6links in this build. I personally use Lacerate since its good bosses in lower maps, when Frenzy Charge generation isn't ideal. You can also use Ancestral Protector or Ancestral Warchief. But this didn't feel amazing in my testing. THIS IS PURE SINGLE TARGET

Spoiler

Links are written in order of Importance.

Main Links:
Flicker Strike - Multi Strike - Melee Splash - Added Cold - Elemental Damage with Weapons - Ice Bite

Secondary Links:
Lacerate - Elemental Focus - Concecrated Effect - Elemental Damage with Weapons - Added Cold - Ruthless

Aura Setup:
Blasphemy - Frostbite - Herald of Ice - Onslaught

Movement:
Leap Slam - Faster Attacks - Fortify - Culling Strike

Defensive
Cast When Damage Taken - Immortal Call - Increased Duration - Enduring Cry

FLASKS:

This is where you have the free choice of what to invest and how much you wanna invest into this character. I'd recommend at least a Health flask and a bleed immune flask. Atziri's promise if you can afford, for the Leech. and if you choose to invest you can also get a Vessel of Vinktar. If you're good at managing resists, you can use a Wise Oak. Which is a pretty big Damage boost.

Please read the whole guide, before asking me questions. I'll happily answer questions, if they are not written in the guide.

Thank you for including that! It has really sped up my leveling. I have another question, if I use the Kaom's roots what 4 link gem setup should I ditch? I was thinking of getting rid of the CWDT and immortal call and just keeping enduring cry (cause it's necessary) in the last socket of my Dirge, because it's only a 5 link. Is there a better option that I should be considering?
which bandit reward do we go for ?

If you go Kaom's roots i would ditch the CWDT Setup and put enduring cry in a Unset ring.
