If it help the steam version works perfectly fine when i have it installed. Sadly every time the game updates i have to delete it and then re download it since i dont have enough extra space to make a backup copy of the game on my SSD.

Any help would be awesome - Having to delete the game and reinstall it every patch is becoming quite tedious.

I'm no expert but trying to troubleshoot my own problems and found your thread.
I read that sometimes the Path of Exile download is cached by your ISP and if they cache a corrupt version then it will always download corrupted until they're informed and clear it. Try googling the problem, I think there's a thread out there where GGG was asking people to report corrupt cached copies so they could reach out to ISPs and deal with it. Might be what's going on for you, or I might be completely off base, just thought I'd throw that out there. Hope you can figure it all out! |

If it's a caching problem, there's some Steam settings where I'd be interested to know if they might fix this.
![]() First the 'Clear Download Cache' option, secondly changing the download region. If you're getting a bad version from the server, maybe that might allow you to get a good one. |
