Constant crashes

Hi,

Recently my game constantly crashes. I've tried using two different computers, it's always the same. I don't know what to do. Please help.

the thread i am replying to is from more than a year ago and there is no reply from poe staff.
for about 2 years i've had crashes. started out at on a level with much action, finding the plum in the garden for the captain, but other characters or areas played ok. after a crash i was able to race to the end or crash point and over time was able to complete the level but the crashes got worse, i uninstalled and reinstalled, i deleted most of my characters, i changed equipment, i connected to other sites around the world, i set up a new email account and downloaded new again, i got tech help and sent them all the info they asked for, i contacted nvidia and was informed by them or poe that i could no longer use DX11....(dx9ex only solved black screen problem but did nothing for crashes). after about a month from the opening of a new quarterly feature the crashes lessened for a while but then got worse. now bestiary league crashes at a low level. i was able to get a character to level 67 but now all, about 12 characters crash before i can close a level. it is really becoming unplayable. i don't want to spend $1,000 to upgrade my equipment as this is the only place where my pc has problems. does everyone with this problem leave poe or can it be solved?

I think after four years I can safely say POE will never be fixed. I start out and if the first couple of maps lag and crash I give up for the day. Sometimes I give up after trying to login for several attempts.

Doesn't seem to bother POE. I thought they existed to sell MTX etc. I've bought nothing for 6 months and won't until or even IF the game improves.

But I'm not holding my breath.

Exception code: 0xc0000374

That exception code translates to "heap corruption", or in English rather than jargon, that something went wrong with the bookkeeping inside the process. It's not optimal. I have a guide to things that have helped with other crashes, which might be applicable here.

When you say you hit the same problem on two different computers, though, you are seeing this exact same exception code on both?

Another possibility that would match the observed facts would be that the problem is located on the client end - in your system - and so the vast majority of the tens of thousands of daily PoE players don't have anything resembling this issue.

but have the tens of thousands of users with the problem quit?

i would like to know, and i know it is probably not possible, how many have left. the ONLY reason i can thing of for stopping to play, other than death or incapacity of the client, is the reboots (or crashes).

who would voluntary stop playing THE BEST GAME (mostly free) available on the web??????

after several weeks of wonderful play, with no reboots, the problem has returned?!?

for the past 2 days NO problem. plays like a charm, level 70 in standard and 20 in incursion.

Yes, PoE remember us of the win95 days... Sometime it work, sometimes it doesnt.
