Rigwald's Curse question.

So it says modifiers to claw attacks apply to unarmed... (Yes, I'm thinking about making an unarmed build. I bet everyone goes through this phase, right?)
So... does that include things that are like, "increased one-handed weapon damage," etc? Or, just things that specifically buff claws? I believe it's the latter, but I might as well check in. Dernier bump le 16 déc. 2016 à 13:11:36

Only claws, the amulet isn't exceptional in any way, it just allows chars that are far from unarmed nodes to benefit from unarmee passives using claw passives(downside is you use amu slot) but hey, every build has its downside

What are "unarmed passives"?
Like, just general "physical damage" passives, I guess? |

" Any Attack/Melee/Physical that doesn't specify a weapon. A couple Shield clusters grant Melee Phys Damage while wielding a Shield, for example, and the three Strength classes have various openings that apply to Unarmed. If you're just making your first Unarmed build, skip Rigwald's Curse. |

The greatest advantage Rigwald's curse offers is that it allows you to go crit with unarmed attacks, which gets huge multiplier boni from facebreaker and abyssus.

Unless you want to go Crit+Facebreaker, this amulet is worthless. There is a reason 99.99% of Facebreaker builds go RT.

Yeah, I'm still REALLY brainstorming this build. But there's enough kinks still where I don't wanna share anything yet. But I still intend to go crit, even if I don't use Rigwald's Curse. I'm planning on going Assassin, which - assuming I can get the PC's going in the first place - gets me at least 40% crit chance with the skill tree alone (also considering using Assa Mark, but that's one of the many things I'm still brainstorming). My issue on using Rigwald's is, very simply, that I also plan to go CI. And I feel like CI requires Eye of Chayula. So I really just don't know, man. But I'm not giving up on this! At the very least, it's been a blast to level up as so far. Everything is so low level requirement, lol. I hit 6k DPS at level 30, LOL. |

Well, there's still this thing... with some resistance tweaking it should be possible. Why do people always forget about it? :/

You have to have a base crit chance. Unarmed has a base crit chance of ZERO, which is why you need this amulet. Just because you have increased crit chance from the tree doesn't make it so you can crit. 0% chance to crit, with 40% increased crit chance... is still zero.
