Elreon's "can have multiple crafted mods"

Hi.
I'm not new in this game but i can't find an answer nor here on forums neither in internets.
Elreon's "can have multiple crafted mods" metamode is a SUFFIX. So if i had a blue item with 1 PREFIX and im adding Elreon's metamode - my BLUE item's slots are out. So if it counts as the blue item, how the hell poexyz have 83752352375 items with only ONE affix and then all 5 crafted affixes. Blue item have only 2 free slots...
Is that means, that i will i be able to add 4 more CRAFTED affixes to a blue item with one affix plus elreon's metamode?

are you saying you've seen items on poe.trade that have 1 affix, 1 "can have multiple crafted mods" and 4 crafted mods? If so, then the 1st crafted mod must have made the item into a rare (is there any other explanation?)

yes exatly this i'm saying.
But when i'm trying to add any crafted mod on a blue item with 2 affixes, i can't cos "the item have no more slots".
So i want to know will i be able to add 4 more crafted mods when there will have been already 1 affix and 1 "can have multiple crafted mods". Will it turn to a rare, and will it be count as rare and have then 4 more free slots?

No, if you add multimod to a blue item you will fill the slots so you will need to use a regal first to add one more affix and turn the item into a rare before you can add more mods.

You can get a one mod rare by some methods, usually by scouring affixes.

There is a divination card for "weapons of crafting" which creates a blue item with the multiple mod affix on it as far as I know. This would allow you to regal to rare and have room for 4 crafted affix.

Well, one way for it to happen would be this
- 1 prefix blue
- regal for 1 pref + 1 suff rare
- multimod
- suffixes cannot be changed
- scour prefixes for 1 suffix + 1 crafted suffix rare
- remove crafted mods

Or something like that, pretty much anything that would leave you with a regular affix and a crafted one that can be removed, because scouring an item to 1 mod will revert it to blue.

this way takes like 5-6 ex, but items like poe_trade/search/omenoninikuten are few chaos.
So adding a "can have multimodes" on a blue item with 1 affix is just a stupid waste of exalteds?

Seems like it's the only cheap way to get rare item with 2 mods(one of this two mods is "multimode")
